<description>Our youth team were the chosen ones from Wales to go down and play in Wembley(what an honour), her&#039;s a small write up of our 2 days down in london

Kev&#039;s &amp; Rikki&#039;s ,Players , friends and family must have been very excited as the day before the big event they were all down the senataf early ,waiting for the Coach to arrive, all were present a few to pick up on the way.

On the way down to Wembley I could see that all the players were on cloud 9, (thinking to myself that they were one of three lucky teams from Wales out of 56 teams from all around the UK to be taking part in what I would say would be there most exciting game of football ever beating any home league game or home tournament........this would be it.

On arriving a day early at our hotel (premier inn &quot; no sign of Lenny Henry though&quot;)
We all went out for the day some travelled down to London while the majority went to Windsor and what a great day it was it started off with us getting a link bus from premier inn to Heathrow Airport and having a 20 minute wait. Good old Rikki brought a ball and we found an area to play in a quadrant were it had a built in water fountain on the ground when the jets of water were active they looked like slalom poles Rikki been Rikki went for it,,,,THE JETS OF WATER WENT UP AND AWAY RIKKI WENT IN AND OUT DRIBBLING THE BALL BETWEEN THE WATER POLES all the cheers were heard from all around Rikki kept on going to the end now did he make it well you will have to have a look at the video clips that will be on the gallery page( GREAT STUFF).

We then arrived at Windsor were we eventually found a park were we stayed for about 1 to 2 hrs and just had a kick around Adults Vs Kids good laugh even though the kids carried on to the end , the Adults dropped like flies towards the end. Time for some refreshments

We made our way to Witherspoons were we hade some food and few drinks, the day ended back at the hotel with a few more drinks before last orders.

THE BIG DAY..

Northwick Park were they would play in a tournament.

On arrival managers had there briefing via microphone as time was of the essence.

10:30 1st game....

This was against Crawley Green FC who were from Luton (west ham colours)
Hotspurs got of to a great start plenty of passing and attempts for goal but none scored 0 - 0

2nd game...

This was against an East Essex team Called Thurrock Tigers Fc &quot; they should have been called Chicago bulls by the size on them now they were huge , there left back player took the goal kicks and they always ended up in our goal area HE WAS MASSIVE
But they were no match for our lads as they were quick on there feet the first goal came from Captain Harry Lewis who received the ball from the centre then he took it down the left wing near the corner, he then turned towards the goal and bang along the ground tight in the left side of the net did it go 1-0 to us the second goal was another good goal from George Black final score 2 - 0.

3rd game...

Was against West Bridford Colts FC (Croydon)

This game was fast going didn&#039;t see much of this but caught sight of there first goal what a screamer 1- nil down but not for long as Jaydon Gregg to the rescue 1-1 final score

Not bad 1 wins 2 draws UNBEATEN.......... NOW THE BIG ONE

3pm Wembley Stadium,

As the players Caught sight of the Stadium the Chants Began &quot;who put the ball in the wembley net.....who put the ball in the wembley net........who put the ball in the wembley net.........HOLYHEADHEAD HOTSPUR&quot;&quot;&quot;.
after having a quick tour of the Stadium form the Coach Driver we finaly found the Entrance into Wembley tickets were handed out to the parents and the wristbands were put on the players and coaches the parents looked sad as they saw the players make there way towards the VIP entrance...

Once in the Stadium all clubs were put in there rows and then it was a quick introduction from Sir Geff Hurst welcoming all clubs to Wembley...

One by one the squads would be called up to play their game as the MC called number 23 &quot;the Hotspur boys were up down the steps they went.

All in a line the lads were guided around the pitch were they would have a photo taken with Sir Geff Hurst (one for the Clubhouse) before playing there match.

....................................... ....MATCH OF THE DAY.................................... ..

This game was against some team from Liverpool and as it was only a 1, 10 minute game
But what a game..

The final score was 2 -1 to the Hotspurs boys But we did score all 3 goal,George Black getting the 1st then Jack Ford the 2nd and Finaly Jay Pritchard Getting the 3rd (o.g.)
Sorry I can’t give a more detailed account of the event, maybe kev can enlighten everyone.
